Doug Gabriel’s
Branson Spotlight (formerly Branson Idol) is gearing up for its
fourth weekly competition this Friday with
Tony Roi from the Elvis
Experience as the guest judge. It is good to see Branson inviting
new talent into the mix. DH Posted @ 8:05 pm ___________________________________________

Go Fish (a cute store nestled in downtown Branson) does carry that rare and unusual item for yourself or a creative gift for someone else that you simply cannot find in other stores. It is fun to browse the many shelves and racks and see what Bill and Valerie Coleman have gathered from unusual markets around the world for your enjoyment and pleasure. Not far from their is coffees that come in a
plethora of different flavors and you can create a flavor to be your
particular favorite, mixed your way, by the blending of many
different savory extracts at the
Branson Bean. It is scheduled for part of May and June. Though I am not a big bluegrass fan, I am sure that bluegrass show followers will want to plan a visit. I have been to Silver Dollar City at different times throughout the year. My suggestion is to go in the spring or fall season. Not only is the park bursting with amazing color, the crowds do not seem to be as large as the summer months. They are oversized and very plush. They even had headrests. I was seated near the back, and even though I was not close enough to land one of the new seats, mine was also very roomy and comfortable. Every seat in the theatre came with an cup holder as an added bonus. I would rate all the seats in this theatre as tops. They may be some of the best in town. I am not a small person, so in my opinion a nice large seat is a great asset to any theatre. HH Posted @ 10:19 pm
